2024 UPDATE: Creating The Ideal Digital Artist Setup
This is a quick update to THIS post from 2021
It’s been about 2-ish years since my last post showing how I set up my desk, and it has changed a lot!
Just wanted to make a quick update on how my set up looks now.
I still have the same standing desk, and the arm on my Wacom, but I’ve added a keyboard holder called a CinTweak, and I LOVE it! It’s so nice to not be limited to where I can have my keyboard. I also now have a laptop connect to a monitor, which is also on an arm.
Not seen in the photo, because I couldn’t get a good angle on it, is a walking pad on the right side of the desk. It’s fantastic, and I highly suggest everyone get one. Although you can’t use it while drawing, I find it’s perfectly fine if you’re doing any kind of graphic design, writing emails, or watching YouTube.
You might notice my crochet project on the right. Sometimes when I take a break, I also like to crochet on the walking pad, and that helps me feel pretty refreshed! In the back is my Windows computer tower. I use it purely for playing games, or if I ever feel like streaming personal art.
All in all, my set up hasn’t changed all THAT drastically, just a few tweaks here and there. Hope it helps you out if you’re trying to set up your digital art desk! Any questions, feel free to send me a message!
